The playing was great, you wouldn't believe that some of these musicians hadn't even spoken in a decade.  But the compositions were what really stood out.  The complex rhythms of Mark Lau's Virculum were handled so smoothly; Spike bluesy Training The Dog pleased the crowd as much as it pleased the band; there was a beautiful melody by Nadje which i forget the name of; and the highlight for me (and my camera) was The Chalice, from Spike's Free For All Suite.  Here it is:
